PROGRAMME OF EVENTS 2026

 

 

    January 29th (Thursday) 2.00pm Blandford Hall, MARTIN

 A talk by Tom Clarke from Exbury Gardens.  (Membership payments for 2026 can be collected before this event).

             

    February 19th (Tuesday)  at 2pm Damerham Village Hall. A talk on Chrysanthemums and Dahlias by Bryan Madders, chairman of the New Forest Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society. 

 

      March 21st (Saturday)  Damerham Village Hall  - SPRING SHOW (open to the public 2-4pm  (Show schedule and entry forms available from approx mid February)

     

     April 23rd (Thursday) 7.30pm Damerham Village Hall

Wildflowers of Britian and Europe an talk by Brian Pettit

             

      May 16th  (Saturday) 2-4pm Read's Farmhouse, Martin                   

Annual Martin Plant Sale and teas.

 

       May (date to be confirmed) Coach trip to Kew Gardens.

 

      July 2nd  Members Garden Party

 

      July 25th (Saturday) Damerham Sportsfield                 

SUMMER SHOW  (NB membership card no longer gives free entry                   

to the Fairground and Show)

 

      August 20th (Thursday) 7.30pm A demonstration on how to make a Terranium by Catherine Rounce 

                     

        October 15th (Thursday) 7.30pm Damerham

AGM  with drinks and nibbles. Followed by a 'Review of the Year'

                  

        November 19th (Thursday) 7.30 Damerham Village Hall. 

  Garden birds, a talk by Steve Oakes                      

 

        December 10th (Thursday) 2.00pm Damerham Village Hall

  Christmas social - details to follow

   There is no charge for members to the indoor meetings/events, except where advised, but contributions are invited towards the cost of refreshments. 

 

Admission to talks for non-members is £3.00
